My niece, Jessica, is the inspiration behind me joining Little Cooks Club. She is a LCC member and at 3 years old she told her mom not to worry about cooking, because she would cook for them. She is confident in herself and empowered, at 3 years old.

I am a qualified Pharmacist Assistant. I graduated and started working and travelling in 1997.

Since then I have worked and lived in Asia for over 10 years teaching English. Between the pharmaceutical and education sectors I have crossed paths with many little people, who I love being around. As adults we can learn so much from them. The pharmaceutical industry in South Africa has ADD/ADHD as the buzz word on many parents and teachers lips.

Education, nutrition and health all go hand in hand. LCC is the perfect opportunity to empower little ones. My goal is to facilitate their learning, to allow them to explore and in time to create their own master pieces. Creativity is the perfect recipe for a healthy mind, body and soul.

I have a fabulously supportive husband, who said, “You can make anything work if you decide to do it.”

So...I have decided to open Little Cooks Club Houghton which I’m sure will be a great success not only for me but more importantly for the healthy Little Cooks we produce.
