Reach for a Dream in Cape Town

The Little Cooks Club ladies in Cape Town hosted a day with the Reach for a Dream Foundation. The children had a wonderful day of cooking muffins, making homemade lemonade and then planting fresh vegetables. Many dreams were fulfilled and much fun and laughter was had by all. Such lovely children.

Thank you Reach for a Dream for blessing these children and allowing us to help out.

Lwanele Sikonje from Reach for a Dream sent a lovely thank-you letter to Little Cooks Club’s Maghboobah Hendricks:

Hi Maghboobah,

I would like to extend a huge thank you to you for all of the hard work, time and effort that you put into Saturday’s outing. It is greatly appreciated!

This was such a special event for the children of Etafeni. They enjoyed themselves immensely and loved making their own choc-beetroot cupcakes AND all the other activities that you planned for them. This has definitely had such a tremendous positive impact on their life and as their care worker verified, the day won’t be forgotten.

It is only through this kindness and generosity that we are able to continue fulfilling such dreams. Thank you so much for being a part of it all!

If you could please pass our heartfelt gratitude on to the others members of your team who were involved in this exciting outing. I will send you the pictures from Lynne as soon as I receive them.

Many thanks once again and wishing you everything of the best!

Kind Regards and Sincere appreciation,

Lwanele Sikonje
